 EXPLORERS

In 2010 the District established an Explorer Program, under the auspices of the Boy Scouts of America's "Learning for Life" program. Boys and girls ages 14 to 18 can become Explorers and learn the basics of fire fighting.

Warrenton Fire Protection District understands that we share a mutual interest in the field of firefighting.  We invite you to become a member of our Exploring Program with other students in the area who have the same interest.  The purpose of this program is to give you the best information we can about careers in firefighting through hands-on training, guest speakers, tours, and discussions.  Our group will meet twice a month throughout the school year with qualified, successful men and women in this field.  Over time, each Explorer will be trained in various firefighting tactics and will be allowed to respond on emergency calls with the men and women of the Warrenton Fire Protection District.
