Warrenton Fire Protection District now has a Child Passenger Safety Technician on duty Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Station 1, 606 Fairgrounds Road.

What a CPST does...

1. Educates caregivers and parents on proper car seat installation and use.

2. Conducts safety seat checks and offers hands-on assistance.

3. Ensures car seats are correctly installed to meet safety regulations.

4. Provides education on topics like vehicle airbags, seat belt systems, and LATCH systems.
